Tuesday, October 10, 6:00pm The Milam County Tea Party conservatives will be holding their monthly meeting at the Budget Host Suite & Inn located in Cameron just off Hwy 36. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and along with the usual business they will be looking into the 2011 Constitutional Amendment Election and will also have a candidate, or three or four, on hand for you to meet and talk to.
Friday, October 14, 7:30pm The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra kicks off their 10th season on Friday, October 14, 7:30 at Anderson Mill Baptist Church. Join fellow Republicans as we enjoy performances including Thunder and Lighning Polka, Russian Sailor’s Dance, Funeral March of a Marionette, Marriage of Figaro, and others. Afterwards, if time permits, join us at a nearby restaurant for political discourse and fellowship. Sitting together may be difficult, but please RSVP to info@williamsoncountygop.org so we know who to look for (let us know if you are interested in socializing afterwards, too).
Saturday, October 15, 9:30am - noon The Republican Party of Robertson County is holding an organizational meeting on Saturday, Oct. 15th, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Congressman Bill Flores and State Rep Marva Beck to keynote prior to business meeting. Meeting will be at Roland Reynolds Elementary School, 317 N. Owensville, Franklin, TX 77856.
Saturday, October 15, 6:30pm Republican Club of Sun City Monthly Meeting. Lynn Woolley, an unabashedly conservative talk show host, author, and columnist for the Dallas Morning News, the Waco Tribune-Herald, NewsMax and other media outlets will address the club during its dinner meeting scheduled for Saturday, October 15 in the ballroom of the Social Center in Sun City (6pm reception, 6:30pm meeting). Cost is $16 per person. Checks made out to The Republican Club of Sun City should be mailed to The Republican Club of Sun City, Bernie Miller, Treasurer, 1530 Sun City Blvd., Suite 120, Box 227, Georgetown, TX 78633 by no later t;han Friday, October 7. Bernie has also set up a special collection box on his front porch at 265 Trail of the Flowers for those club members wishing to hand deliver payments. Monday, October 17, 5:00pm Williamson County GOP Social Time. Join Republicans from across Williamson County for October’s social at TGIFridays (261 University Oaks Blvd – next to IKEA) in Round Rock on Monday, October 17, beginning at 5:00pm. Join us for good refreshments, great friends, and a little politics. Party officers, elected officials, and other activists will be present, so this will be a great opportunity to learn more about Republican activities in Williamson County in a casual environment. All Republicans are invited to attend this “Dutch Treat” event. Please RSVP by sending us an email so we can reserve an appropriate number of seats if you have a chance, but you are welcomed to attend in any case.
Tuesday, October 18, 6:30pm The Republican Women of Milam County will be holding their monthly meeting at 6:30 at the Budget Host Inn & Suites in Cameron. This will be their normally scheduled meeting and they will be discussing the up-coming Constitutional Amendment Election and will hopefully have some special guests also. Remember, there are male memberships to this organization also and many men to come and participate.
Wednesday, October 19, 11:30am The Georgetown Area Republican Women meet in the Berry Creek Country Club Ballroom. Our guest speaker this month will be Congressman John Carter. The cost of the luncheon is $15. Reservations can be made by calling 512-869-5685 or by email. The reservation must be made by Friday, October 14. Tuesday, October 25, 7:30pm The October meeting of the Williamson County Republican Party Executive Committee will be held in Jarrell at Sonterra Fellowship. A reception will be held before the meeting, beginning at 6:30pm.
